A criminal record can be a bar to helping people to climb out of poverty. It potentially effects their ability to get a job, or promote within their job; housing; public benefits; community volunteer such as little league or cheer coach or volunteer at their child’s school and field trips; and more. I would like to present “Make it Go Away”: The ins and outs, qualifications, practice and rules regarding expunctions and nondisclosures. I’ve got it down to a one hour CLE, with a short quiz at the end and room for question/answer. Attached are Powerpoint designed for Attorneys, some printed collaterals how we market this Project and checklists to collect the information necessary to prepare a Petition. I will also provide a blank sample Petition and Order for a more practical application.
