This session will discuss how four different online services use technology to provide brief legal advice to low-income clients, including: Texas Law Help Chat, Parenting Order Legal Line chat, Texas Free Legal Answers, and AskKarla. Attendees will learn how these services are able to reach a large number of people using relatively few resources, thus providing a valuable service to clients who are unable to afford an attorney and have been unable to find a free attorney. We will also discuss how attendees might incorporate these services into their workflow.
