As technology improves, litigation fact-finding is both easier and harder. Your client may provide you with case information that was acquired illegally in violation of the Federal or State wiretapping or the stored communications acts. What are these acts? How might my client or I, as their attorney, violate the act? What are the consequences of violating the act? What is my duty, as the attorney on the case, to make sure all fact gathering is done legally? How is technology making it easier to fake documents and photos? This session will explore and attempt to answer these questions with take-a-ways to give you the tools you need to best represent your client while preparing their cases for court.
