This session will provide an overview of RAD, with a focus on rights of tenants in properties converted under RAD. RAD was originally authorized by Congress in the 2012 Appropriations Act. Many public housing authorities have converted their public housing units under RAD. This session will describe how rights of tenants in such properties have been affected and the importance of determining whether tenant lives in RAD-converted property.
