Youth experiencing homelessness have greater involvement with the juvenile system than their peers. Conversely, youth may encounter homelessness because of a juvenile or criminal record. Presenters will discuss trends and facts at the intersection of juvenile justice and youth homelessness, including how courts and policymakers can limit victimization and support the population. Additionally, we will highlight any race, gender, or sex disparities present for youth who experience this intersection of homelessness and juvenile justice.
