How To Build a Pro Bono Program from the Ground UP

In July 2015, DRTx began its pro bono program by hiring attorney Cicely Reid to be the program coordinator. To date - DRTx has engaged with hundreds of volunteer lawyers across Texas, secured thousands of hours of direct representation, and raised over $200,000 in in kind donations. The DRTx pro bono coordinator will present on how to build a successful pro bono program. Participants will leave with a practical guide and effective tools that they can immediately deploy to establish and build out their own pro bono programs. This session will cover not only what to do – but also what to avoid in order to foster growth and development of a pro bono program and sustain growth over time.
