Attorneys serving the poor and disenfranchised must manage high conflict cases compounded with high case loads, limited resources, and unrealistic client demands. These factors can lead to secondary trauma, case management problems, and ethical problems. The session will explore the causes of secondary trauma and burnout while developing strategies that improve case outcomes and management. Participants will engage with each other, leave with a list of resources, best practices, and sample forms.
