About me
Sarah Mae Jennings joined the State Bar of Texas Legal Access Division in 2024. Previously, she served as the Policy Director at a statewide legal nonprofit, combating the criminalization of poverty in Texas, and worked as a public defender in New Orleans, Louisiana. Sarah Mae is an adjunct professor at her alma mater, the University of Texas School of Law, and a faculty member for the Texas Justice Court Training Center. She is admitted to practice law in both Texas and Louisiana.
Sarah Mae holds a B.A. from the University of Georgia and a J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. She is currently enrolled in the LBJ Women’s Campaign School at the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at Austin.
